◎ Character's Name: Xion
◎ Character's Canon: Kingdom Hearts
◎ Character's Age: Physiologically 15, chronologically 1
◎ Canon Point: Right after Axel defeats her and brings her back to the Organization.
◎ Background/History: "Who do you see?"
◎ Is the character a hacker and/or do they have a sixth-sense? She doesn't have a sixth sense, but she does seem to have at least a little bit of hacking ability, as she once accessed the Organization's main computer, something that she shouldn't have been able to do at her rank.

◎ Personality:
If someone passed by Xion on the street, they might think she's a normal teenage girl; the weird, slightly ominous trenchcoat might be a little strange, but she seems harmless otherwise. They'd be more or less right on that assessment, especially if they engage her in conversation, but they probably wouldn't be able to guess that she shouldn't be that way, because she was created to be a living weapon.

To people she's just met, she can come off as a quiet and reserved girl. The Organization had discouraged her from interacting with others as much as possible, due to its work in secrecy and darkness. As such, she spent most of her development away from the rest of the world, save for the two friends she made in the Organization. Even in a place where she's not under their influence, she can show some signs of hesitance and uncertainty when trying to talk to other people. Such ignorance of the outside world also results in her being just a little naive; while she does have her moments of intuitiveness, a lot of things that people might think of as normal can go right over her head.

More often than not, she'll encounter people in a situation where she's on a mission, and they'll get to see how she operates in battle situations. She's a very work-minded person, determined to see her goal through. When she has an objective in mind, she does everything in her power to finish it. Failing to finish something successfully usually leaves her in a dejected state; failure is something she dislikes greatly, having been considered one by various members of the Organization. She strives to prove them wrong, to show them that she is capable of being more than she was meant to be, so having it slip out of her grasp is a large hit to her person.

Once she gets to know somebody, though, she starts to show more of her true colors. Around those she considers friends, she is more like a normal girl; with Roxas and Axel, her best friends, she jokes around and is able to forget about the more pressing, stressful parts of her life. She gets attached to people she gets close to, for both better and worse; while the positive energy she feels when she's around friends can do her a lot of good, it also leads to her becoming dependent on others. She does have the capacity to figure things out on her own, but oftentimes she prefers to seek out companionship and advice from people she trusts.

Perhaps one particular facet of her that can belie her original purpose is how volatile her personality can be. Her attitude usually matches the situation: when others are in a good mood, so is she; when the atmosphere is heavy, she's more prone to negative feelings. As such, she has a tendency to experience bursts of feelings like anger or fear in high-tension situations, which relate to her creation and status as an unstable being. Since Nobodies are told that they don't have feelings or emotions, she doesn't really have anyone to turn to when she needs help figuring out how to control them. This also gives rise to the confusion surrounding her identity; unlike the other Nobodies, she has no clear memories or indications of who she was in her past life. While this encourages her to become her own person, she sometimes can't help but feel inferior for these reasons.

In situations like these, she tends to not think highly of herself, full of doubts and uncertainties, until a friend brings her out of it. She always puts herself before others, thinking that she'd be happy if they were, too. As such, she tends to choose options that serve the greater good, rather than what's best for her. She's selfless almost to a fault, and would gladly sacrifice herself if it meant that her friends got to live on safely.

Whatever the case, there is nothing more that Xion wants than to be happy with her friends, while being comfortable with herself and her sense of being. Unfortunately, she just hasn't been dealt those cards, so she makes the most of what she's got. It's not much, and sometimes it's a little more than simply difficult, but she tries her best no matter what. Even if there are some big bumps along the way, she's making her own experience and memories, both good and bad; that's what really matters, right?

◎ Powers/Abilities:
Xion's main offense is her Keyblade, an oversized key that functions as a bludgeoning weapon. It isn't stored in a physical area, but rather in her heart; she can summon it just by thinking about it. Her ability to do so can be affected by her mental state; if she's really stressed out, for example, she may be unable to call it and must find something else to use. She also has access to basic magic spells, specifically the elemental attack spells Fire, Blizzard, Thunder; Aero (a weak air shield); and Cure (a healing spell).

Aside from her offensive abilities, Xion can utilize the power of darkness to create Corridors of Darkness, which act as quick travel points. However, repeated use of the Corridors can leave one more susceptible to the negative effects of darkness, so she probably won't be using them too much.

◎ Weapons & Other Special Inventory: Other than her Keyblade (which she won't be using initially) and her clothes, she has nothing on her.

CEREALIA-Specific

◎ Element: Water.
◎ Sense: Taste. Sea salt ice cream is a symbol of the friendship between Xion, Roxas, and Axel, which they each treasure dearly. Its taste, described as "sweet, but kind of salty, too," is enough to remind her of her best friends, who are her driving force.
◎ Seven Character Traits: ( + friendly, loyal, determined ) ( ~ naive ) ( - low self-esteem, dependent, emotional )

◎ Third-Person Sample:
When Xion wakes up, she finds that her head is pounding. She brings a hand to her forehead as she squeezes her eyes shut, trying to sort out what's going on. Bits and pieces of a strange dream come back to her, but never enough for her to fully get a grasp on what it's about. Lots of color and pixels? An intense fight? Did she see Roxas and Axel's bodies on the ground, with Xemnas's imposing form looming before her...? All she can tell is that it's markedly different from the nightmares she usually has, and she's had a lot of those; when comparing the two, she doesn't know if the unknown is preferable or not.

It's only after she opens her eyes that she realizes that she's in an unfamiliar place, a place that's definitely not her bedroom in The World That Never Was. Where is she? Where are her friends? What is she doing here, when she has so many more important things to attend to back where she belongs? ("Do I even really belong there?" she can't help but think.) Before the panic has time to settle in, she's guided to a conference room, where she's bombarded with even more information that she can't begin to comprehend. It's just too much, as the pain of her headache begins to build. She lets out an anguished yell, then quickly apologizes: "I'm sorry, I just... it's a lot for me to take in. What's going on? Who are you people?" She takes a quick, short breath, and then continues: "I— I just have somewhere I need to be."

The presenter takes the cue to flip to the slide explaining what her presence in this strange world is all about. Her eyes widen as she listens and reads, though both senses are soon tuned out. Why her? Why save her data, and not the countless other heroes in her side of the universe? They could do so much more than she could; they were probably stronger, smarter, more resourceful... she's not suited to being the savior of her worlds. She's useless in the grand scheme of things, and compared to anyone else they could have chosen, she'd never be able to help.

She's then broken out of her reverie, given the usual new arrival package, and sent on her way. She desperately needs to rest and gather her thoughts, so she heads straight for the residential area and chooses a plainly furnished apartment. Once there, she sinks into the first chair she sees. She can't help but let her mind race, going over the information she's been given since her awakening. It's different now, thinking in a place where she can be alone and relax at her own pace. Things are already a lot clearer than they were only minutes before, and for that, she is thankful. It's easier to take things one step at a time.

Maybe... maybe the reason she was chosen was because of the fact that she was considered disposable. She was already set on sacrificing herself for the good of the universe—and her friends—wasn't she? She had made that decision not too long ago, after all, when she realized that it was the option that was right for everyone. She is the key to bringing down Xemnas's plans (at least, in relation to the purpose she was created for)... there's no telling what kind of chaos the worlds would have been in had she decided instead to follow his orders. So maybe it was the right decision to choose her, to give her the task of saving everyone, of saving her friends. She was going to do it regardless, right? She can already feel her resolve forming and getting stronger, as she rises from the chair with a renewed sense of determination. She's still not completely sure of how she's going to do all this, or what's going to happen if she fails, but...

Maybe this is her chance to make things right, her own way.
